Microsoft is preparing a Mini version of the Treasure Tag announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Nokia Treasure Tag WS-10 is almost half in weight and thickness than the original WS-20. Moreover, the ‘Treasure Tag Mini’ comes with additional support for iOS and Android, so companion apps for the other platforms should be released prior to the WS-10 launch this summer.

Treasure Tag Mini is easily attached to your belongings or to any object you want to track on the map, so you can easily find the things you care. In addition, Treasure Tag will notify you when you are about the leave your belongings behind. WS-10 will be more affordable that the first Treasure Tag but it won’t have some features like NFC and a speaker, while the battery has been reduced from 220 mAH to 70 mAh. However ever with a 70 mAh battery inside, the WS-10 offers pretty good standby time of up to 120 days.

We don’t have information about pricing and availability, but the Treasure Tag Mini shouldn’t cost more than $20. Check out the official product page here.
