Nokia MixRadio updates with improved offline support and more
Nokia has updated its MixRadio application for Windows Phone 8 to version 4.3. Improved offline support, Home and Player shortcuts from any page, improvements and bug fixes are the new features according to the app’s official changelog.
MixRadio lets users listen downloaded mixes in offline mode, but after the initial period of 30 days these mixes must be refreshed due to licensing restrictions. The latest version (4.3) shows remaining time before the downloaded mixes expire. In addition, the new update allows users to listen mixes before they are fully downloaded, plus the ability to listen them while being refreshed.
Other significant changes include a shortcut bar at the top of the screen. Users are now able to access the Home and Player screens by tapping on their shortcut icons – the Home icon is on the left top side, while the Player shortcut is on the right hand side displayed as a track timer.
MixRadio is a free app for Windows Phone, exclusively for Nokia Lumia devices. In addition, Nokia MixRadio works on Windows 8, web, Nokia X and Asha platforms.
