Previously known as Lumia EOS, the future 41-megapixel camera-phone Nokia Lumia 1020 will be officially introduced on July 11 in a special press-event in New York. A week ahead of the introduction date, it comes into focus – @evleaks has published two images showing the AT&T branded Nokia Lumia 1020 aka EOS and it seems that the high-end Nokia model will be offered exclusively for AT&T customers.

The front picture shows the 41-megapixel device which looks like an ordinary Windows Phone with the AT&T branding. The second picture reveals the back side of the Nokia Lumia 1020/EOS with the most intriguing part of the phone – its improved PureView 41-megapixel sensor.

The camera will be able to take two pictures simultaneously – a small one, 5 MP for quick sharing to social networks, and a large, 38 megapixel version for archives, zooming and editing.

The Finish company will unveil the Lumia 1020 on July 11 at 11.00AM. The invitation promises 41 million reasons to get excited and “Zoom re-invented”. There will be also a #zoomparty in the midtown area of NY at 7.30 PM. We are very curious about the camera features and its performance. It is expected that the Nokia Pro Cam feature will give you a full control over the 41-megapixel shooter and more. Stay tuned to read the latest news from Nokia.
