Nokia Lumia 1520 crowned as the best gaming smartphone
Despite the fact that there are many Android-based models with better hardware on paper, the latest Windows Phone flagship has been ranked at the first place for gaming. According to a new Power Board benchmark, the Nokia Lumia 1520 is the best smartphone for gaming with a score of 24793 points. What’s really interesting here is that Samsung much anticipated high-end Galaxy S5 with the new Snapdragon 801 processor has scored 23502 for the second place.
Other top 5 models in ‘Benchmark X’ are Asus PadFone Infinity 2, Pantech Vega Secret Note and Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Nokia Lumia 1520 occupies the 5th place in the overall top 5 benchmark, which is again a great achievement.
This is another proof that Windows Phone devices show better performance than respective Android models with similar specs. It would be interesting to see how the next wave of handsets will perform, given that Windows Phone 8.1 is expected to be even lighter and more optimized.
