Nokia Lumia 1320 launches in Scandinavia on March 14
Nokia Lumia 1320 arrives in Sweden, Denmark and Norway on March 14 through an exclusive launch partner – Elgiganten. Scandinavian customers can soon take advantage of Nokia’s affordable 6-inch smartphone enriched with exclusive Nokia apps and HERE navigation services.
The Lumia 1320 offers most of the features available in the high-end Lumias, but this phone carries a much lower price tag. Pre-loaded with Lumia Black software update, users will be able to use new apps and services such as Nokia Storyteller, a photo application that sorts your images according to date and location, Nokia Beamer and more.
“After Lumia 520’s great success, we have chosen to bring the latest and most innovative services of Lumia and Windows Phone 8 to a whole new segment, allowing users to take advantage of our latest innovations at a more affordable price”, says Edvard Bergström from Nokia Scandinavia.
Nokia Lumia 1320 will launch exclusively through Elgiganten in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, with sales starting on 14 March with a suggested retail price 2 795 SEK.
“Elgiganten’s customers have shown a great interest in smartphones with large screens so we decided to offer them the Nokia Lumia 1320. Elgiganten will be the only retailer in Scandinavia where the phablet will be available.”, says Torfinn Halvorsrud, Sales Director of Elgiganten.
Some of the features available on the Lumia 1320 are especially attractive for Scandinavian customers – like the ability to use the touchscreen with gloves, which helps a lot in cold weather. Furthermore, all Nokia Lumia devices come with great navigation and mapping services, including turn-by-turn navigation (HERE Drive), local traffic information (HERE Traffic) and HERE Maps with LiveSight augmented reality.
Nokia Lumia 1320 is a mid-range Windows Phone with a 6-inch screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a dual-core processor at 1.7 GHz with 1 GB of RAM, 5 MP rear camera + 0.3 MP up front, 8 GB of storage and a 3400 mAh battery.
