One of the best additions to Nokia Collection was Creative Studio, an app with many photo-editing tools allowing you to enhance your images. There are many editing options available such as color pop, the ability to remove red eyes, different photo filters and more. As Nokia promised a few months ago, there will be a completely new re-written version that will replace the current Creative Studio v5.5 available in the Windows Phone store.

The new Creative Studio app has a completely redesigned user interface with different approach. The app first opens your photo and then all filters and tools are displayed in menus next to the picture. More high-quality filters are added so users will have more options to choose from.

A new ‘enhance’ mode lets you automatically adjust colors, clarity, tone, brightness, but there is also a ‘manual’ mode for more advanced users. At the same time two features available in v5.5 will not be part of CS6.0 – color-pop and Red-eyes reduction tool will return in version CS6.1, as the company is working hard to improve them.

With Creative Studio v6 you can edit your pictures as many times as you want, but you can always revert back to the original image. Other enhancements in version 6 are:

• Improved blur functionality
• Non-destructive editing

Nokia Creative Studio v6.0 will make its debut with Lumia 930 in late May while all existing Lumia smartphones will receive an update.
