New update released for Lumia 1520, 930, 830 and other classic phones
Phones running Windows 10 Anniversary Update gets build 14393.1770
Microsoft released an update for PCs and phones running the Anniversary Update – version 1607 – released in August/September 2016. All phones on this version should see build number 14393.1770 as a new update: Lumia 435, 535, 635, 735, 830, 930, 1520.
The changelog for build 14393.1770 doesn’t include anything specific related to Mobile, but there are updates to Windows kernel, Microsoft Edge, and other core components that may improve the performance of the older Lumia phones.
Microsoft’s support page lists October 2018 as the end-of-support date for Windows 10 Mobile version 1607 (Anniversary Update). This means that models like the Lumia 930 and 1520 should expect more updates in the next year.
Newer Lumia phones like the Lumia 650 and 950 will be supported until June 2019, according to Microsoft.
