Microsoft to show off Windows 10 Mobile along with new devices

The current preview build of Windows 10 Mobile has been running on Insider devices for more than two weeks now and many people hope that we may see a newer version sometime this week. Unfortunately, this is not the case, as Microsoft has really focused on the next week’s event in New York.

Responding to questions on Twitter regarding new builds, Microsoft’s G.Aul informs that we should not expect new releases before the key event on October 6. Fortunately, the new build may land soon after the presentation that will reveal at least five new devices including Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950.

The company is expected to finish the OS by the end of October and start shipping new models pre-loaded with Windows 10 Mobile. The older devices should start receiving the update around November/December.
