4-inch Microsoft Lumia 330 passes certifications at FCC
The low-end Lumia could be released soon
NPU reports that five variants of an unknown 4-inch Lumia smartphone have passed FCC certifications. RM-1069, 1070 and RM-1071 are single SIM devices, while RM-1068 and 1032 have two SIM slots.
FCC documents also reveal the size of the upcoming Microsoft Lumia (118.1 x 64.7mm) which is similar to the low-end Nokia Lumia 530. We also know that the smartphone has a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 5MP rear camera, and hardware buttons which is an interesting decision for a low-class device.
The new Microsoft Lumia could be prepared for release in selected countries before the end of 2014 or in early next year. Stay tuned for more details about new Microsoft Lumia smartphones.
Update: We understand that Microsoft will release the smartphone as Lumia 330 that will represent an entirely new deep low-end Windows Phone series.
