How to move apps to your MicroSD card on Windows Phone 8.1

Storage Sense move to sd card

Windows Phone 8.1 allows you to transfer apps from the built-in storage to the SD card (providing that your Windows Phone has a microSD slot). This could help a lot especially if your device has limited capacity (4GB or 8 GB).

With Storage Sense, any app or group of applications can be uninstalled or transferred to the SD card with just a few clicks.

To move apps to SD card you need to:

1)      Go to the App list and find ‘Storage Sense’. Before open the app, you can pin it on the start screen for a quick access

2)      Tap on ‘Phone’ -> ‘Apps and Games’ and then press the folder section at the bottom.

3)      Select the app(s) you want to move (or uninstall) and confirm

4)      Done!
