Microsoft working to fix issues with non-supported phones that got Windows 10 Mobile
Some HTC, BLU, Prestigio phones received Build 10536.1004
Mobile Build version 10536 is now officially running on smartphones that are part of the Windows Insider program. The list with supported models includes most of the Lumia devices and only one non-Lumia – HTC One M8 for Windows.
Unfortunately for some owners of non-supported devices who subscribed to the preview program, their smartphones detected the last Insider build and many users installed it despite their phones were not officially supported.
It is very important to known that installations on phones like BLU Win, HTC 8X/8S may cause troubles and the only way to recover is to re-flash the software.
Today, Microsoft informed that for the company is a high priority to resolve the problems caused by installing build 10536 on non-supported models. Redmond is currently working on a recovery option for phones that were not-supported, but installed the latest preview build. We will inform you as soon as the fix is available.
This is a high priority for us to solve and have a team dedicated to it. We will let you know as soon as we have info on recovery.
