Microsoft is testing a phone with Snapdragon 820 processor
Unknown Microsoft flagship shows up in benchmark listing
Microsoft is apparently testing a new prototype smartphone codenamed RM-1162. The unannounced device is powered by the new Snapdragon 820 processor, according to GFXBench. The phone has a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and Adreno 530 GPU.
The other specs of the RM-1162 are yet unknown.
Microsoft is expected to release a new high-end phone in Fall 2016, and it may be the rumored Surface phone, or another Lumia. Stay tuned for more news on Microsoft/Lumia devices.
