BLU Product is preparing to launch its first Windows Phone devices dubbed Dash 4.0 and Dash 5.0. While we expect both affordable smartphones to hit the US, Latin America and the Caribbean region this summer, WPCentral learns that Dash 4.0 and Dash 5.0 will be sold directly to consumers through Microsoft Stores (online and physical).

BLU Dash 4.0 will cost just $99 without a contract. It has a 4-inch 800x480p display, dual-core CPU at 1.3 GHz, 4GB storage, 5MP camera and a 1500 mAh battery.

The other phone, BLU Dash 5.0, comes with a larger display (5 inches) packing almost the same pixels (854 x 480). Built around a dual-core processor running at 1.3 GHz, other specs of the Dash 5.0 include 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and Dual SIM support. BLU Dash 5.0 will cost $199 off-contract, according to the source.

Microsoft and BLU are yet to announce official launch dates and reveal full specs of the forthcoming smartphones.

About BLU Products: Based in Florida, BLU is focused on emerging markets and US, offering budget-oriented Android (and now Windows Phone) smartphones.
