Microsoft Store arrives for Windows 10 Mobile
New logo and a translucent bar for the Microsoft Store
Microsoft has recently rebranded the Windows Store to Microsoft Store for everyone on Windows 10 PC and Windows 10 Mobile. The Store introduces a new, colorful icon, and adds translucency to the top bar.
The visual changes are part of Microsoft’s Fluent Design language that should take control over Windows 10’s apps and menus in 2018. Since these apps are independent from the OS updates, all UWP app updates for Windows 10 should also come to Windows 10 Mobile, despite the fact that the mobile platform has been put on a maintenance mode.
Microsoft has also updated the People app for Insiders, introducing Fluent design elements to the app. After successful testing, the changes in the People app will be coming to Windows 10 Mobile.
