Microsoft Photos updated with new header and animation
The Photos app gets an update
Microsoft has released a new update to the stock photo app for Windows 10 Mobile. The update brings ‘Photos’ to version 16.912.10072.0, and even though it doesn’t include a changelog we can immediately notice some visible changes.
Firstly, the header of the gallery has been changed as Microsoft has given the previously all-CAPS sections (collection, albums & folders) bigger fonts that resemble those in Windows Phone 8.1. Secondly, there is a new animation when you open a photo.
This update is available for both Insiders and non-Insiders / Production devices.
