CAD sketches reveal the size of the Lumia 950 XL

New renders and a video reveal the design and the size specs of the upcoming flagship smartphone Microsoft Lumia 950 XL. According to OnLeaks, the dimensions of the 5.7-inch Lumia 950 XL are 151.9 x 78.4 x 7.8 (body thickness) /9.9 mm (at the camera hump).

We assume that the specs are final in order to compare the new Lumia with some other devices with the same display size of 5.7 inches:

• Microsoft Lumia 950 XL: 151.9 x 78.4 x 7.8 mm (unconfirmed)
• Samsung Galaxy Note: 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm
• Samsung Galaxy Edge+: 154.4 x 75.8 x 6.9 mm
• Huawei Hexus 6P: 159.4 x 77.8 x 7.3 mm (unconfirmed)

We can see that the Lumia is shorter, slightly thicker and wider. Overall, the size specs and the body/screen ratio are excellent.

Even many premium phones with 5.5-inch screens are taller and wider than the 950 XL. For example, iPhone 6S Plus is 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm or much taller and almost as wide as the 5.7-inch Lumia.

A special press event on October 6 should confirm the specs above and give us all other information about the new phones. Stay tuned.
