The company is testing a number of new prototype features on Windows 10 Mobile

A video posted by Winbeta shows a new way for resizing Tiles on Windows 10 Mobile. Internally, Microsoft is now testing many new features on prototype devices, but there is no guarantee if they will be included in the final version expected later in 2015.

This new way of resizing Tiles is in very early, alpha stages, according to sources familiar with the matter. The alternative way for resizing seen on the video works just like resizing an app window on a Desktop PC. Users press the Tile on its corner and drag it to resize the window. This prototype feature would allow users to resize the Tile up to the largest 4×4 tile size, which is still in a testing phase.

We may not actually see this feature in the final product, as employees-testers are not so enthusiastic about its advantages over the current method for resizing. Keep in mind that this is a very early concept and the final result (if approved) may significantly differ from what is seen on the video below:

Redmond has almost finished Windows 10 for Desktop and the company will soon redirect most of the efforts toward the mobile version of the platform. We expect that Windows 10 Mobile will progress very quickly in the next two months, so we may see the final product in September, along with new high-end Lumia models.
