Windows 10 media event scheduled for this month

Microsoft has invited the press to join a Windows 10 event in New York on October 26. No clues of what to expect later his month have been given, but there are rumours about a Surface All-In-One and a number of accessories for the new PC.

Also possible are some hardware refreshes to the Surface tablet line, although many analysts believe that new models won’t be announced before Spring 2017 and Redstone 2 update.

Microsoft is not expected to announce new phones this year, but the possible updates for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 could be a major part of the October’s press-conference. The company has already announced some of the new features planned for Continuum during the Ignite conference this month, while many others could be unveiled on October 26.

Microsoft’s event starts 10 AM Eastern Time (3 PM London) and it will be live streamed. A link to the streaming will be posted near the event.
