Microsoft announces a Micacast receiver and a wireless charging plate
The users of Lumia Phones have now two more accessories for their devices just released by Microsoft.
One of them is the Screen Sharingfor Lumia phones HD-10 – a device which allows you to share any content to an HDMI-screen from your smartphone. Thus, you can view any photos, videos and presentations from your phone on your TV.
The accessory is made for people who use much content on their own devices. Now they can see all of it on a TV-screen. You just have to tap an NFC-enabled phone and you are ready to project anything from your phone onto your TV. The HD-10 could be used by any Lumia device and other Miracast products.
With the new device you can watch any types of movies played by your phone on a big screen. Moreover, you can browse on the Internet, play games, view your photos and show presentations.
The other new product by Microsoft is a wireless charging Bluetooth device – DT-903. It features the Bluetooth 4.0 connected technology and LED notifications. It can be used on Windows Phone 8.1.1 devices. When a device is nearby and it has less than 30% charge the LED will start twinkling to remind the user than their phone needs to be charged. After placing the phone on the plate it will show you if you have any upcoming events or missed calls.
Users’ settings could be controlled through the new apps in Update 1 of Windows 8.1. The new product will be sold in 3 different colours – green, orange and white. It will be released in October and its price is expected to be 59 EUR or 59 USD.
