Messaging app with integrated Skype gets demoed on Video
First look of Universal Skype experience in Windows 10 Mobile
Microsoft announced in January an upcoming integration between Skype and the main Messaging app in Windows 10 for Mobile and Desktop, allowing users to make audio/video calls and send messages/SMS via the core Messaging app.
Now, a video and photos give us an early look at the upcoming integration in Windows 10 Mobile:
As you can see, the app is still unfinished and there are some bugs (like the resuming screens), but overall the interface is simple, clean and looks good. With built-in Skype, all users will be able to send messages, SMS, call friends or send files, directly from the Messaging app.
The company is widely expected to include unified Skype experience in the next preview build for Phones. The same should also happen with the PC variant of Windows 10.
