This selfie mania has gone totally out of control. We not only have a selfie phone (Lumia 730/735), but also a special app for selfie enthusiasts. Lumia Selfie has replaced Nokia’s Glam Me in the Store, so you can download it right now and start flooding the Social networks with photos of yourself.

We were able to test the Lumia Selfie and we think it is quite a nice application. Lumia Selfie lets you snap a photo using either the front–facing or the rear–facing shooter. If you use the main camera, the app will beep once your face nears the center of the frame… very helpful.

Once you’ve snapped the perfect duck face photo you can apply several filters to it and fine-tune your face. You can enlarge and enhance the eyes, make your face look slimmer, enhance smile, whiten teeth, and more. Then you press the save button and your selfie is ready for distribution.

The Selfie App comes pre-loaded with the recently announced Lumia 735, 730, and 830, while all current Windows devices can download the app for free from the Store. Don’t forget to include the #lumiaselfie hashtag when uploading your face to Instagram or Facebook.
