Lumia Camera app can be installed on non-Lumia smartphones

Microsoft is now allowing non-Lumia owners to install Lumia Camera 4 app on their smartphones. This is the Lumia Camera app without Rich Capture which remain an exclusive feature for some Lumia devices such as Lumia 640, 640 XL, 930, 830 and 1520.

Lumia Camera app can now be installed on any of the current Windows Phones including HTC One M8 or BLU Win HD, so users can manually adjust settings like exposure, ISO, shutter speed and white balance.

All non-Microsoft phones will also be able to install Windows Camera app once Windows 10 Mobile is available for these phones at the end of the year. Windows Camera borrows design and features from Lumia Camera, so all customers will have more options very soon.
