Lumia 950 & 950 XL receive a new firmware update
The update brings stability fixes, GPS and call quality improvements
Microsoft has released a new firmware update for the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL in some European countries. This is the second firmware update for both flagship phones after that released in December.
The new version 01078.00038.16025.X has been released to non-Insider (production) devices and the update should gradually hit all regions and countries in the coming days.
With this update, Microsoft has fixed some stability issues, improved the GPS reliability and audio call quality.
If you are on the Windows Insider program, you need to open the Insider app and select ‘Production’ before being able to scan for an update. You can always return on the Insider track for updates through the same app by selecting ‘Fast’ or ‘Slow’.
