Windows 10 for the masses

At a big event in New York, Microsoft has announced many exciting products, but also mentioned the Lumia 550 – an affordable Windows 10 phone that will go on sale for the Holidays, priced at $139.

Microsoft Lumia 550 features a 4.7-inch LCD HD screen and the low-end, quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. Among the other specs are 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 5MP camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing shooter, LTE support, and a 2100 mAh removable battery.

Lumia 550 will be available before the end of the year for $139. In Europe, the phone is expected to cost around EUR130.
