Lumia 530 at a price of only £60 in the UK
This year Microsoft presented its cheapest Windows Phone ever produced – Lumia 530. It is the inheritor of the 520 model launched at the beginning of 2013.
The first market for Nokia Lumia 530 was in Vietnam, earlier this month. Last week the model was launched in India, too. Today the launching of the device on the market in the UK in two weeks’ time was announced by Microsoft.
Lumia 530 could be found on sale after 4th September at the price of about £60. It will be sold through most of the well-known and popular retailers in the United Kingdom.
In spite of being very simple with its unpretentious characteristics, Nokia Lumia 530 performs as well as the other devices from the brand, according to Microsoft. The device is supported with 1.2GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB storage space with the ability to use microSD cards up to 128 GB. The screen size is 4 inches and the smartphone has only 5MP camera on the back without flash.
Nevertheless, the actual price of Lumia 530 on the market might be a little bit higher than the announced by Microsoft. For example, a price of £89.95 for Lumia 630 had been announced before its launching on the market. Then the device was being sold for more than £100.
