New Instagram features rolling out to Windows 10 users

Facebook has enabled the Instagram Live Video feature for some users on Windows 10 Mobile, allowing them to start a live video stream from the app with a maximum duration of 60 minutes.

You can start Live video by swiping to the right from the main screen and then selecting ‘Live’ camera mode. After you start Live video, your followers will receive a notification to start watching you.

Instagram for Windows 10 Mobile now also allows you to send photos and videos to friends in a temporary chat that disappears after 24 hours. We can also notice some improvements in the app’s Live Tile, now showing more relevant information including direct messages from friends. Here is a screenshot of the new Live Video feature:
The new features should be available for everyone on Windows 10 in the coming days.
