One or two new YOGA tablets will run Windows

Lenovo has confirmed the launch of a Windows 8.1 based YOGA Tablet. On its Facebook page, Lenovo posted a picture showing a YOGA tablet running Windows, and the date October 9 when there will be a special launch event in London.

Rumor has it that Lenovo might be preparing two variants of the YOGA tablet based on Windows 8.1. One could have a 10-inch screen, while the bigger ‘Pro’ version could sport a 13-inch display. Details about the specs are rather scarce. Full HD displays, Intel processors, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB SSD are the most likely innards for the new YOGA tablet(s) which would be exactly the same specifications such as those seen in the Android models. If that happens, It would be interesting to see how the same hardware performs on different platforms.

Stay tuned for more news on the upcoming YOGA tablets. We will update this article as soon as new information pops up.

Update: Lenovo unveiled two YOGA tablets on Windows (8, 10-inches), and a 13-inch convertible laptop YOGA 3 Pro.
