Lava Iris Win1 for $80 goes on sale in India
Online orders through Flipkart
The local Indian manufacturer Lava is launching its first Windows phone dubbed Iris Win1. The price is just Rs.4,999 or around $80 but keep in mind that the smartphone is available only in India and is being sold through the leading online retailer Flipkart.
Lava Iris Win1 is a typical low-class device with a few surprises. There is a 4-inch WVGA display and a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor inside. Internal storage space is 8GB, while the two cameras and 1GB of RAM are typical features for more expensive handsets.
The backside camera offers 5-megapixels and has an LED flash, while the front-facing one is a standard VGA. Finally, the Iris Win1 is equipped with several sensors – ambient light, accelerometer, and proximity. The phone is fueled by a 1950 mAh battery under the hood.
Filpkart will start selling the Win1 smartphone from December 4. You will find a flip cover and a screen protector in the retail box.
