Improvements and new features for Instagram on Windows 10 Mobile
Facebook has updated its official Instagram app for Windows 10 Mobile. The new version includes ‘Instagram Stories’ – a feature, recently announced for iPhone and Android, that is very similar to Snapchat’s Stories.
The short-lived Instagram stories posted by your friends can be seen on the top of the main app page. You can view and comment stories, or swipe left from the main window to create your own story. Snap a photo/video and then add effects, text or drawings, before making it available to your followers. Here is a brief introduction to Instagram Stories:

In addition to Stories, the app has gotten some performance improvements and it now has a black background instead of blurred when you long-press to preview a photo.
