Instagram, Vine, Storyteller and other great apps are coming to Windows Phone

In August, we made a list of the top 10 apps missing on Windows Phone. Today, we are happy to announce that many of the popular applications already available on Android and iOS are coming to our platform. Moreover, Nokia has announced its own unique apps that will undoubtedly make Windows Phone more appealing than ever. Here are a number of great apps either available or on the way.
Instagram – It seems the wait is almost over. Instagram, the mega popular photo and video sharing app was announced at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi. Kevin Systrom, company ‘s CEO revealed that Instagram will be available in the “coming weeks”, allowing the Windows Phone users to capture and share their best moments.
Vine – It is a very popular service owned by Twitter. Vine enables you to record and share short video clips (up to 6 seconds). At the moment, the Windows Phone users are using different third-party apps including 6sec. Not much is known of the possible release date now, but Vine is likely to arrive before year’s end.
Nokia Storyteller – Storyteller is developed by Nokia. It offers you a dynamic and interactive way to relive your memories. The app integrates your pictures with the location service HERE. Then, all your journeys and memories are displayed on your timeline and on a map.
Nokia Camera is already available for some Lumia devices (920 and 1020). It combines two great single apps (Pro Camera and Smart Camera) into one powerful photo tool. Nokia will enable Nokia Camera for the rest of the Lumia smartphones with the ‘Lumia Black’ update in early 2014.
Papyrus – It is a note-taking app that enables you to use a natural handwriting just like you write on paper. Papyrus allows you to take notes with a stylus or a finger. You can select, cut, move, paste and edit the color and thickness of your writing. Papyrus is coming soon to Windows Phone.
In Note – This is also a finger writing app for making annotations or writing memos. In Note was announced alongside both new 6-inch smartphones – Lumia 1520 and 1320. The app will be available soon in the Windows Store.
Flipboard will be launching with the Lumia 1520.
