The Windows 10 app gets an update

Instagram has updated the app UI for Windows 10 Mobile. The new update to version 8.0 is now available in the Store, and it offers a new icon, Live Tile and UI changes.

The Tile on the Start screen is now fully transparent and it has the new app icon. The new version is less colorful and it comes with a simpler design.

We have a new look! Our updated icon stays true to the camera and rainbow. The simpler design puts more focus on your photos and videos without changing how you navigate the app.

With this update, Instagram on Windows 10 Mobile becomes on par with the apps for iOS and Android in terms of design and features.
