Windows 10 Mobile to get native call / text blocker

Microsoft is working on a new version of Block and Filter app for Windows mobile. ID & Filter will debut for Insiders as a separate app with the next Redstone build of Windows 10 Mobile, before the public release this summer.

The new app has been spotted in internal Redstone builds. With the ID & Filter users could block calls from private or unknown numbers, and receive notifications when a call or message is blocked. Windows 10 users could also set quiet hours for blocked numbers, sync blocked numbers with other Windows 10 phones, add numbers to categories, and more.

ID & Fitter could be coming to the Insider Fast Ring with the next Technical Preview Build of the platform. Stay tuned.
