Microsoft Store now takes pre-orders for the MateBook

Huawei’s MateBook pre-orders begin at the Microsoft Store US & Canada ahead of the official launch in July 11. The tablet/laptop 2-in-1 hybrid was announced at the Mobile World Congress in February. Huawei will sell the tablet starting from $699, depending on the hardware configuration. All variants include a 12-inch screen with a 2160 x 1440 pixel resolution, USB Type-C port, fingerprint reader for Windows Hello, and an Intel Core m processor.

Huawei MateBook with a Core m3 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage costs $699. The most expensive variant includes an Intel Core m7 processor, 8GB RAM, and 512 GB of internal storage, for the price of $1599.

The company will also sell a couple of accessories for the MateBook – a portfolio keyboard, MatePen, and MateDock.
