HTC One M8 for Windows now available at AT&T and T-Mobile
HTC One M8 for Windows: 3 of 4 US carriers
HTC One M8 on Windows Phone has made its way to AT&T and T-Mobile. The smartphone, launched as a Verizon exclusive device in September, is now free to hit all other markets in the US and worldwide.
The phone is now available for purchase at AT&T for $669 contact-free or $199 on a new two-year agreement with a chosen plan. The US carrier is also offering the smartphone with its ‘Next’ plans (18 or 12 months) for $28 and $34 a month.
T-Mobile is offering the One M8 for $586 without an agreement which is $83 less than the ATT’s deal. On-contract, the price is $0 plus 24 payments of $24.40.
The specs of the HTC One (M8) for Windows are identical to the Android version launched earlier this year. The phone has an excellent metal body with a 5-inch FULL-HD display. You get a quad-core Snapdragon at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a microSD slot. There’s 2600 mAh battery and a 4MP UltraPixel camera on the back. One M8 ships with the latest version of Windows phone and a bunch of software goodies from Microsoft – Office package, Skype, OneDrive and more.
HTC One M8 for Windows should launch in other countries before the end of the year. Windows phone definitely needs a high-end device like this but are you willing to switch from Lumia to HTC?
