Verizon releases the latest version of Windows Phone to HTC One M8

GDR 2, also known as Update 2, is now rolling out to the Verizon edition of HTC One M8 for Windows.

Verizon Wireless doesn’t provide details on what to expect in addition to the improvements made by Microsoft. The build number is 2061.30.30501.605.

HTC One M8 is among the new additions to the list with supported models for Windows 10 Mobile preview, but Microsoft explains that some Verizon customers may not upgrade their devices due to a specific bug. Others, non-Verizon phones can install the Preview build.

The official Update 2 for Windows Phone 8.1 is being distributed over-the-air.
