HP’s first Windows 10 tablet arrives in August with 128GB of storage
HP Pro Tablet 608 is an 8-inch, high-end model
Hewlett-Packard has today unveiled plans to release its first Windows 10-powered tablet in August. Named HP Pro Tablet 608, the premium device will feature an 8-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, 4:3 aspect ratio optimized for productivity apps, and a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution.
The tablet is light and thin (8.35mm). It comes with the new USB standard Type-C for fast data transfer and charging, a quad-core Intel Atom Z8500 processor, 4GB of RAM and the impressive 128GB of internal storage.
The Pro Tab 608 also features an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front-facing shooter, optional 3G or 4G support, metal-chassis and dual front speakers.
Microsoft Windows 10 OS will be pre-installed on the HP Pro Tablet 608. The price is $479 and according to HP, the sales start in August.
