How to download the Redstone 2 update on Lumia 930 & 1520

Microsoft started rolling out the official Redstone 2 update to the supported devices on April 26, but those of you with phones not in the list can still download the update (build 15063) through the Windows Insider program.

If you are on unsupported device, and already on build 15063, you can just move to the Release Preview Ring to continue to receive Cumulative updates for Redstone 2.

If you are not on build 15063, you have to join the Windows Insider program and get into the Slow or Fast Ring. Go to Settings -> Update -> Windows Insider Program to select the ring. Your device may install more than one update to take Windows from Anniversary Update (14393) to Redstone 2 (15063). Once you are on build 15063 you can move to the Release Preview ring in order to continue receiving cumulative updates.

Phones not eligible for official Redstone 2 update: Lumia 430/435/532/535/540/ 630/635/730/735/830/Icon/930/1520, BLU Win, Alcatel Fierce XL, Xiomi Mi4. All these phones can upgrade through the Insider program to build 15063.
