Funker to launch the mid-range Windows 10 Phone this summer

The Spanish manufacturer Funker has listed a new Windows 10 phone on its website. Funker W6.0 Pro has a similar slim profile (7.9mm) and aluminum chassis, but offers better specs and a larger screen compared with the model announced earlier in 2016.

The W6.0 has a 6-inch FullHD screen in comparison to the 5.5-inch HD screen of the Funker W5.5 Pro. The new model also includes a faster processor – the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 with Continuum support. Microsoft recently added the Snapdragon 617 to the list with processors that support Continuum, which made possible cheaper Continuum-capable smartphone such as the NuAns Neo and the VAIO Phone Biz in Japan.

Funker W6.0 Pro supports 4G/LTE bands 1/2/3/4/7/8/9/19/26/28B and includes 3 GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Among the other key specs of the phone are the microSD slot, large 3900mAh battery, 13MP rear and 5MP selfie camera.

The W6.0 Pro is expected on the European market this summer, offered by the Funker’s web store or online retailers such as Amazon. Pricing of the phone is yet to be announced. Read more about the W6.0 at funkertech.com.
