The app now supports Fitbit Alta

Fitbit, popular manufacturer of fitness trackers, has published a new version of its Windows 10 app in the Store. The new version of the app includes support for Fitbit Alta – a new wearable that tracks activity and sleep, but also supports alerts and notifications when connected to a smartphone.

In addition to the Alta support, the app gets a new GPS map detail view, general improvements and bug fixes.

Download Fitbit for Windows 10 Phone and PC from the Windows Store. You can use Fitbit even without a fitness tracker – just connect your phone and use its motion data sensor to track a run, walk or hike.
