Windows 10’s version of the messaging app in action

The brand new Facebook Messenger for Windows 10 has been spotted in the Store as a BETA, but the app can’t be downloaded just yet. The universal Windows app for PC (and hopefully for Mobile) will allow you to send messages, Gifs, videos, get notifications, see messages on the Live Tile, create groups, search for people, and more.

Facebook unveiled in mid-2015 that new apps for Instagram, Facebook and Messenger would be developed especially for Windows 10 devices. The company has already published the brand new Instagram app as a BETA, the Facebook client is now in internal testing, and now we see the Messenger for PC in action. Facebook Messenger is already in the Store but you can’t install the app just yet. It remains to be seen when Facebook will make the app available to download and whether the Messenger will work on Phones too.
