Landscape mode for Facebook Messenger

Facebook released a new update for the Messenger on Windows 10. The new version brings several improvements and features, like a landscape mode, improved notifications and Live Tile information.

However, version 79.525.6674.0 of Facebook Messenger also brings some problems, especially if you often switch between portrait and landscape modes. The app, that Facebook ported from iOS using a special cross-platform bridge, is still slow at launch on Windows 10. It also lacks support for some typical Windows 10 features like Lock Screen detailed statuses or features already available for other platforms like voice calls.
