A few months ago Microsoft released a Beta version of the Facebook app and gave an opportunity the developers and enthusiasts to contribute in the making of the future versions of the app. At last, their efforts come to fruition. Microsoft has announced that Facebook 5.0 is ready for download. The new version of the social app brings plenty of new changes and improvements that many users have been asking for. It features a completely revised interface and a support for post sharing, high resolution pictures, Facebook Timeline view, as well as an improved navigation.
Despite the release of the new version of the app the Beta version will still be available in the Windows Phone store for those users who wish to check and test the new features before their official release. Microsoft has also announced that it is currently working to bring these new features and improvements to Windows Phone 7 version until the end of the summer. You can download the app from here.
