Xbox app and Xbox One to get many improvements soon
Microsoft has announced an upcoming summer update for Xbox on Windows 10. This update will reach members of the Xbox Preview program in the coming weeks, before rolling out to the general public later this summer. Microsoft has also planned a second Xbox update, expected around the E3 conference.
The summer 2016 Xbox update includes tons of new features and improvements for Xbox and Windows games. Here’s what’s new for Xbox One:
- Cortana is coming to Xbox One in several countries (United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and Spain), but more will be added later. Users will be able to use ”Hey Cortana’ and voice commands.
- New Game collections: The interface has been improved and the collections load faster.
- Facebook Friend Finder on Xbox One: an easy way to find Friends on Facebook
- Improved sharing
Microsoft also announces many improvements for the Xbox application and Windows 10 gaming
- Top PC games show up on Xbox Live
- Xbox and Windows Store convergence: a single cohesive experience across devices
- More personal Activity Feed with new settings.
