Evernote available for Windows Phone 8, provides new features
Evernote is one of the best note-taking apps. Now, with the recent update it has gotten a support for Windows Phone 8. Long time Evernote has not been seriously committed with Microsofts`s platform due to its minor market share. However, since the mobile operating system has reached the third position on the market, Evernote has chanded their minds.
Besides the support for Windows Phone 8, the version 4.0 brings some new and very useful features. The first one is the Multishot camera. It allows you to take multiple shots without exiting the camera. There is a counter on the top of the screen which shows you the number of shots you have taken. You are able to add all of them to one note. If you tap on some photo in a note with numerous photos, a slideshow appears in full-screen mode. Another feature is Speech to text. You can record speech-to-text notes as the app keeps both the audio file and the transcribed text.
The newest version of Evernote supports also Auto-title option. The app adds automated titles based on calendar events, location, and the note content in case you have forgotten to do so. The update brings alongside the mentioned features some improvements for quicker loading and navigation. You can download the app here.
