Dropbox app for Windows Phones gets video streaming and more
The Cloud storage app has been updated for Windows smartphones
The Popular cross-platform cloud storage app has just received a major update that can be installed from the Windows Phone store.
The new version of Dropbox (2015.709.14.2268) gives you the ability to stream videos stored in the cloud without the need to download videos on the device to watch them. This feature would significantly reduce the bandwidth and save time.
Along with video streaming, Dropbox includes a number of performance improvements and bug fixes. The app also supports saving web links to the Cloud and gives extra space to users who invite their friends to sign up for a Dropbox account.
Dropbox is a universal Windows 8.1 app, so all these features should be also available on the Desktop very soon via an update.
