Dell announced an improved 10.8-inch 2-in-1 Windows Tablet
Dell presented the new addition to the Venue line-up. The new Venue 11 Pro 7000 comes with a slimmer body and hardware improvements compared with its predecessor. The new model is 15 grams lighter and features a fan-less design (10.7 mm thick) with the Intel Core M processor inside.
The new Venue 11 Pro 7000 can easily replace your tablet and laptop, which makes it a direct competitor to the Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 and ideal for business customers. As far as the specs, they are less attractive than those in the Pro 3.
Dell Venue 11 Pro 7000 has a 10.8 inch display with a full HD resolution. The processor is ticking over at 2 GHz and is backed by 4 GB of RAM. There will be several variants of the new tablet with prices starting from $699 for the basic model. You can purchase choose between a 64 GB or a 128 GB version, both equipped with SSD. Other key specs include a slim keyboard, microSD slot for up to 256 GB, an optional fingerprint scanner, duo cameras (8MP on the rear and 2 MP on the front), 2 or 4 microphones, optional LTE support, Stylus support, NFC, and USB 3.0.
The new tablet by Dell goes on sale in the US on November 11.
