Dell presents two 8-inch tablets – Venue 8 Pro 3000 and 5000
New Windows-based tablets by Dell
Dell has just launched two Windows 8.1 tablets powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor. Pretty similar in terms of specs, the Venue 8 Pro 3000 and 5000 are suitable for both personal and business users.
Dell Venue 8 Pro 3000 and Pro 5000 have 8-inch displays with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Equipped with two cameras (5MP at the back and 1.2MP up front), the main difference comes in the way of the RAM included. While the Pro 3000 has 1 GB, the 5000 model features 2GB of RAM.
The basic 32GB Dell Venue 8 Pro 3000 costs $199, while optional accessories and protective case will add more to the basic price. Dell Venue 8 Pro 5000 is offered with 32 GB ($249) or 64 GB ($279) of storage. Both models are available for orders in different colors through Dell’s website
