Dell announces upgraded Venue 8 Pro and Venue 10 pro 2-in-1 devices
Both new models have USB Type-C ports
Dell has announced two Windows 10-based 2-in-1s that will be available in mid-November 2015. Both models include USB Type C ports, quad-core Intel Atom processors with 4 Gigs of RAM and 64-bit Windows 10. Among the other features are stylus support, LTE, 2×2 WiFi, an optional NFC. There is no information about the storage capacity, but we guess it could be 64 GB.
The new Venue 8 Pro 5000 series comes with an 8-inch HD or Full HD display. The Venue 10 Pro has a 10.1-inch Full HD display and includes a 2-in-1 keyboard for a seamless transition between tablet and desktop modes. Also available are USB Type A, micoHDMI and microSD ports.
The smaller model will support USB Type C docking from early 2016 so you can use one cable for power, data, video and a desktop experience
Venue 8 Pro has a starting price of $299, while the 10.1-inch model is $429.
