Default browser settings spotted in Insider builds of Windows 10 Mobile
You may soon be able to change the default browser
Microsoft may be bringing new browser options to Windows 10 Mobile, possibly allowing you to change the default app for viewing websites. A Reddit user has found in the recent Windows 10 Mobile Build 14946, available for Insiders on the Fast Ring, a new button in Microsoft Edge → Settings, called ‘Change my default’.
Pressing the button does nothing right now, but porting it over to Windows Mobile could mean that Microsoft may soon allow users to change the default browser and other apps, just like they do it on a Windows PC. The Desktop version has a dedicated Default apps page under Settings → System.
