Cortana support added to Skype

Cortana integration and other improvements in new Skype for Windows Phones
Microsoft unleashed a new Skype version with some new features and refinements for Windows Phone 8 & 8.1 devices. Version 2.19 comes with deeper Cortana integration so users can start Skype calls on the go – a person can be called by asking Cortana something like “Skype Get Michael on the screen”.
Other changes in this version include improved notifications in Windows Phone’s Action Centre – by swiping down users can read app updates in addition to emails, messages and social notifications. The updated app adds support for 32 new languages so the total number of supported languages in now 51.
In addition, you will be able to edit your last sent message, push notifications have been improved and the app should resume faster than before, according to official Skype Blog. Skype for Windows Phone 8 & 8.1 is available in the Store here.
